Dr. Henry Ikenna Obidimma

Consultant Family Physician, Chairman Medical Advisory Committee, and Head of Family Medicine, University on the Niger Teaching Hospital. Fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCFM 2014).

A native of Awo-Omamma in Imo State, Dr. Obidimma earned his MBBCh in 2000 from the University of Calabar. He trained in Family Medicine at Federal Medical Centre Owerri and Benue State University Teaching Hospital Makurdi, and served as Medical Superintendent during his NYSC in Bauchi State (2003).

Over the years he has worked across private, mission, and government hospitals — a journey that has enriched him with vast clinical insight and experience.

His specialties include first-contact and lifelong care, family-focused care, community advocacy, health promotion, disease prevention, home-based care, and management of undifferentiated conditions for all ages and genders.

Driven by a vision to deliver quality holistic healthcare to Nigeria and the world, he also serves as a trainer of trainers for future medical leaders.

His core values are empathy, honesty, integrity, hard work, and compassion. A devout Christian and minister of the Gospel, he credits his success to the grace of God.

As Head of Clinical Services at the University on the Niger Teaching Hospital, he leads a team committed to providing high-quality, client-centered care that leaves patients with lasting trust and satisfaction.
